“ Ever since Eric came in to the spot as GM the food has been so consistent! We went in today and all the food was PERFECT. The ribs were the best I have eaten in years there. The service has been great and there is such a down home feel there. The folks there know us and are so polite and excited to see us. Last time I had BBQ in that area I went to a different spot in Brookhaven and was disappointed I didn’t go to Pig-N-Chik. “ This is great pork bbq. It’s consistent and as good as my 12 hour home smoker Boston butt. I like the pulled pork with the outside burnt edges. The Brunswick stew is classic thick and just delicious. The fried okra melts in your mouth. Just a really good meal with a cute bbq hut atmosphere. Take out is equally good and delivery is also excellent. The red label sauce is a favorite hot and vinegary. They also have regular sauce and a mustard base sauce. If you are not a pork person - chicken and salmon are offered. ”
“ Tried Pig-N-Chik at 5071 Peachtree Blvd and was pleasantly surprised. Had the pulled pork platter and wife had beef brisket. Both were very tender and juicy. All meats are smoked. The BBQ stew with corn and lima beans was terrific. I was told this is a Georgia classic at BBQ places. Happen to meet the owner, nice fellow, who said the new condo and apt dwellers tend to eat more upscale. But this is a real local biz with a solid hometown vibe. I've tried the place down the street and the taste, portions and service are much better at Pig-N-Chik. Small BBQ serving is always 5 oz. Anyhow, give Pig-N-Chik a go. They deliver too! ”
